Like I mentioned earlier, the different engagement rules make it fun to allow for a more stealth approach or assault approach as needed. The enemies are fairly intelligent and will take cover, throw grenades and react appropriately.The guns on offer with different fire rates, silencers (most guns), and various equipments bring a sense of customization and allows you to figure out what approach is best (or what you should try next if you fail).Plus, having the option of choosing between engagement 'rules' (assault/infiltrate) brought a good variety and allows for a tactical approach to situations. I never got tired of breaching rooms by having my squad stack up on the door. The use of your squad (more on that later) can be tactical and brings a fresh change from trying to be the hero and taking on everyone yourself. The gameplay is still surprisingly fun, even though it's 17 years old.I can't think of another game I played where you go from first-person shooting to third-person shooting when behind cover and having this much fun. I played & beat Vegas 1 and 2 back-to-back recently and I thought I would share some thoughts (and why I wish Ubisoft would make another R6 singleplayer game).
